Member Guide: How to Update Your Membership Details
Keeping your details up to date is important — it ensures you receive the right communications, your access records are accurate, and the club can contact you in an emergency. This guide shows you how to update your information.
What details should you keep current?
| Detail | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Email address | All club communications, invoices, and access notifications go to your email on file |
| Phone number | Used for emergency contact purposes |
| Postal/residential address | Required for membership records under the association rules |
| Emergency contact | Held on file in case of an incident at the club |
| Vehicle registrations | Required for compound access verification |
| Trailer registrations | Required for compound access verification |
| Vessel/boat details | Required for compound and boat ramp access |
How to update your details
Step 1 — Log in
Go to redlandsboatclub.org.au/my-account and sign in with your email and password.
Step 2 — Open your Member Profile
From the My Account menu, click Member Profile. This is where your membership details, vehicle and vessel registrations, and emergency contact are stored.
Step 3 — Update and save
Edit any fields that need updating and click Submit at the bottom of the form. Your changes are saved immediately.
Updating your email address or password
To change your login email address or password, go to My Account → Account Details.
What you cannot change yourself
Some fields can only be updated by an administrator:
- Member number
- Membership type (e.g. Ordinary, Mid-Week, Retired)
- Membership start date
To request a change to any of these, contact the Secretary at secretary@redlandsboatclub.org.au.
When should you update your details?
Please update your details whenever anything changes — don’t wait until renewal time. In particular, update your vehicle and vessel registrations promptly, as these are used to verify authorised compound access.
We recommend reviewing all your details at least once a year before the renewal date on 1 July.
