Renewal Emails Explained

Member Guide: Emails to Expect During Renewal Season

During the annual fee renewal period (1–31 July), RBC will send you several automated emails. This guide tells you what to expect and what each email means so you can act with confidence.

The renewal email sequence

When Email What to do
Late June Pre-notification notice — A courtesy heads-up from the Secretary. This is not a bill. It tells you your fee is coming, what amount to expect, and how to pay. No action required yet. Read it. Note your fee amount and due date. No payment needed yet.
1 July Renewal Invoice — Sent from secretary@redlandsboatclub.org.au. Subject will include “Annual Membership Renewal”. This is your actual bill. It contains your fee amount and a Pay Now link. Click Pay Now and complete payment before 31 July.
After payment Order confirmation — Confirms your payment was received. Your membership status returns to Active. No action needed. Keep for your records.
If not paid by 31 July Suspension notice — Your membership has been placed on hold. Access to facilities and the member portal is suspended. Pay immediately via the link in the email or contact the Secretary.

All renewal emails come from

All RBC emails are sent from secretary@redlandsboatclub.org.au. If you receive an email about your RBC membership from a different address, do not click any links — contact the Secretary directly.

Check your spam folder

Occasionally RBC emails may be filtered into your spam or junk folder. If you’re expecting an email and it hasn’t arrived:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder
  2. Add secretary@redlandsboatclub.org.au to your contacts or safe senders list
  3. Contact the Secretary if you still can’t find it

What if I don’t receive my renewal invoice?

If you haven’t received your renewal invoice by 3 July, contact the Secretary at secretary@redlandsboatclub.org.au. You can also log in to your account and go to My Account → Orders to find your invoice directly.
